We hav been working on equal sharing.
Have a look at this tricky problem we worked on. Working together with a buddy we found one fraction each and then moved them around until we were happy with the order.

Staying Healthy

Today Mrs Grant the public health nurse came and spoke to our school.
She taught us about the importance of keeping ourselves healthy.

The important messages are:

• Wash your hands before eating, before and after doing things with food, after going to the toilet, if we cough or blow our nose, when we hav been patting our pets.
• Sneeze or cough into our elbows.
• Use tissues to blow our nose and throw them away afterwards.
• Eat a good mix of foods.
• Drink lots of water.
• Keep warm in winter.

Germs can travel very easily!

We had fun seeing how this worked using glitter and spray water bottles.

How to wash our hands properly

Sneeze germs can travel more than a metre.

Rubbing your hands really fast causes friction and kills germs

Germs are everywhere.

We used glitter instead of real germs.

If we shake hands some of the germs go to the next person.

It happens over and over again.

This was the glitter germs on the first person.

This was the gitter germs on the second and third people.
