Today we spent time learning tricky gymnastics skills with Haidee.
We were super star listeners and followed the instructions she gave us very carefully. Best of all it was lots and lots of fun!

Awesome Artists
Friday was an "Art Attack" day across the school. We all had an amazing time and thanks to Mrs Jacobsen's fabulous wealth of knowledge we developed a great skill-set and produced some absolutely amazing finished pieces.

Takeaways - the good, the bad and the ugly!
Takeaways are something we all love to have now and then.
Today we looked at which ones are a healthy choice and which ones aren't so good for us.
Some takeaways have virtually no fat, some a reasonable amount and some lots and lots - we called them the "Good", the "Bad" and the "Ugly"

Lolly Cake - Writing and Maths
Today for maths and writing we made Lolly Cake and it was delicious.
We were learning how to share shapes into equal fractions of 1/3s and 1/4s and to write instructions using lists, numbered steps and powerful verbs.
Here is the recipe we wrote together.

Toast Fractions
We are exploring how fractions work in maths.
We have worked out that knowing what the "whole" is very, very important.
Today the "whole" is a piece of toast. We had to put different toppings on and then describe the fraction of the toast that we had put it on.
Because we are very clever we also began to learn how to write instructions. :-)

Healthy Eating - Breakfast
Today we shared what we had eaten for breakfast on our ClassBook.
It was exciting to see that everyone in Room One had gobbled up good choices in food to start their day. Well done everyone!
Can you tell what the best choices are to eat?
