Think about a time you have had fun playing with friends?
Where were you?
When was it?
Who was there?
What did you do?
What made it so fantastic and how did you feel?
Here is a collage of pictures showing children playing together to help get you thinking.
When I turned 6 on February 2nd, I had a water slide birthday party at my house. It was so much fun because Julia my friend who is four from Playcentre came. Roy, Molly, Summer, Lucille, Kevin, Locky, Ella and Liam all came too. Our water slide was huge. It went from the top of the paddock, down the hill to the pond. I felt very happy.

What a terrific set up sentence Leah. You included very specific information which helps me paint a picture in my head. Birthdays are always such cool things to write about.
DeleteI wonder what detail you could add about your water slide? Maybe a simile?
The waterslide was as slimy as an eel.
ReplyDeleteThe water was bubbly like a spa pool.

Excellent similes Leah, my favourite is the 'slippery like an eel' - that is very clever descriptive writing.
DeleteWhat did you do in the holiday's Miss Daniels, did you go anywhere with Tean

Thank you for asking Leah.
DeleteTian had two 3-day swim meets (competitions), one at Baywave in Tauranga and one at Waterworld in Hamilton. I love watching Tian race and being a part of our swimming club but they are very, very long days.
Luckily we found time to watch Despicable Me 2 with friends and hike up and around the Mount a few times.
